All work that was carried out in the Rainforests of S
America was work that was sustainable. The tree management of the forests
of the communities where we worked was sustainably managed to give the
communities a better standard of living but to maintain the forests as a
valuable resource and environment.Other projects were being run at the
same time such as the building of schools and community buildings in the
communities deep in the forest.
Mgc has worked in many theatres around the World. Mgc have
been working in the Rainforests in Africa and Central America and the
conditions in Ecuador were some of the most extreme we have worked in.
People dying daily of snake bites and malaria.
We have been trying for many years to promote alternative
areas of industry for the communities in the forests.They will be able to
have alternative ways of earning money and will be able to protect their
valuable resource and manage it responsibly.
It is important that we make a future for the tropical
rainforests in the world. When we work in them we work in them with a no
compromise and responsible attitude.
